I know, it's been a while. I have quite a few comments to reply to as of yet and will get round to it as soon as I'm completely finished with exams - which will be over soon! As you can imagine I've been really busy, but I'm looking forward to a summer of doing absolutely nothing (and blogging of course!). In other news, it was the Jubilee a couple of weekends ago - and no, I'm not going to rave about how good a time I had. 1. I was revising, 2. I think it's a colossal waste of money and 3. I'm a Republican so I can't pretend I enjoyed it much. Sorry to be a party pooper if you enjoyed it, I just think there are other things you can do to get involved in the community rather than celebrate the Queen. Sorry to get all political with you ;)
Now onto the subject of "icons". I've never really been much of an "icon" person if I'm honest. If someone asked me who my ultimate style icon was, I don't think I could say in particular, but what I do know is that understated, simple and elegant clothes catch my eye, whether it's a "celebrity" (I hate that word) or not. Anyway, I just discovered the singer "Francoise Hardy" who is a supposed icon in France whose style, after googling, I love! She has a very strong look about her and I also love the sound of her music. I wish I'd known about her earlier! Let me know if you know of Francoise Hardy already and if you like these photos :) Check out her eyeliner, trench coat, and that hair! It's exactly what I love.
Have a great weekend x
