Tips/Help?

Hey, just wondered, does anyone know how I can post pictures without half of them being cut off? Its really annoying :(

Anyway, is everybody looking forward to xmas? just a few more days to go now! I'd like my haircut before my birthday, like this (Zooey Deschanel)

I've decided to change my blog a bit. I don't want to totally concentrate on fashion per se. Although I love it I also love a lot of other things... e.g. films! So expect more different posts to come up.. although I havent really focused on just fashion anyway! :)

Memories Made In The Coldest Winter...

I love winter! It might sound weird but winter is my favourite season by far.. I just think when snow has freshly fallen its the most beautiful thing ever... I take pictures sometimes but my sister has my memory card so unfortunately I can't upload this amazing picture I took last year. My street has trees lined up all the way down so it is really beautiful whatever time of year :)

Aww I wish I bought tickets! My brother and sister went to see coldplay yesterday (supported by Jay Z! and girls aloud (not so great)). I was gutted I couldnt go :( But it was really last minute. Now I'm ill! And I have an audition later for the youth theatre where I live! Anyway, what does everyone think of what Kanye did? I thought it was really rude! I love his music and everything but come on!
So I said I was going to start my sewing project, and now I have things to start with:

New clothes :)

I bought some new clothes yesterday from Topshop for my brothers graduation. My mum let me spend a little bit more money on an outfit seeing as we probably won't do this again. I was shopping for my sister aswell as she is in London. Instead of them "CiCi" dresses I posted before (which weren't very flattering) I bought the blue dress above and bought a blazer to wear with it. The material was much nicer and it fell nicely too. I wasn't too keen on the dress picture but it looks nice on, I might post a pic, possibly :P For my sister, I bought a coral coloured dress, kind of similar to the pic but with a higher neck. There were some quite good things in the sale but at the moment we could only afford things for the graduation :( oh well!

I watched "Into the Wild" with my brother, it was quite good! I liked the film but I didn't like the story much (its a true story). Its a good film to watch though!

I'm trying to read harry potter & the half blood prince by wednesday.. don't know if I'll succeed but HP always seems to hook me no matter how many times I read it so hopefully!

I really can't wait to finish school for the holidays! 8 days and counting :P I really want to go to paris but I can't afford it at the moment :( Maybe next year and then I can plan it with my sister...

Rest In Peace...

I can't quite believe that Michael Jackson is dead... It just hasn't sunk in, and I keep hoping it's just some sort of misunderstanding... But he is at peace now. Whether people remember him for good, or for bad, there is no denying that he will always be remembered. I don't really believe he committed them crimes, other people may say different, but he is one true legend and in my opinion is the ultimate artist, not even comparable to others. He was also too young... What strikes me most is that people from all over the world and from all different generations are so saddened by this... I really wanted to believe he was just in a coma last night...
He certainly influenced my life, and no doubt millions of other people too... I remember as a child we had a Michael Jackson video with his music videos on it... and we loved watching it. I just hope that people remember and respect him for many years to come. I have so much respect for him, and his brothers too for that matter! At a time when racism was alive in America, they defied all expectations, and I can imagine they would have been a beacon to look up to..
I can't imagine how much pain his family are going through, I just feel sorry for his kids aswell...

Even though Michael Jackson is dead, his legacy lives on...

Well I said I'd post everyday and erm... I almost did it!
Today I did a bit of revision, I went to the gym, and came on the computer! Bit of a boring day but I'm just looking forward to tommorow! No more exams, and summer woooooo. The other day I watched Paris Je T'aime to the end. I'd already watched about half an hour of it before, but had never got to the end, so i decided to watch it all. I loved it! I just loved seeing the whole of Paris again. I've been to paris twice, and it has to be my favourite place yet, even after going to India & Italy (thats the only places I've been to reallyy... i think!). But I love India anyway (I'm indian)... and Italy!!
I found out matthew williamson launched an online store, and I found this dress. It's gorgeous! I could never afford it though :( Oh well :( Well tommorow i'm going to come home and straight away look at fabrics and start to cut up stuff... will post if i make anything good... in a day haha!

Another post :) I'm aiming to post everyday now, well, if i remember lol,
I like Empire of the Sun at the moment, they're quite strange and I don't know alot about them as a band, but I like their sound. I got a free single of the week once from itunes a while ago, I really liked it, and now they seem to be in the charts! Itunes are good at predicting things!
Anyway, I have found two dresses I really like in Topshop for my brother's graduation, both from the "CiCi" range. I've looked everywhere else and none of the other shops seem to have anything nice enough :( The dresses are at the top ^^
I've got one more day of exams (monday) and after that, I'm going to probably dance around the house, and then get started on my "making clothes" project. If I make enough before the end of july, I might try and hold a fashion show at school! I know it won't happen in time but theres no harm in trying! Me and my friend have decided to hold two cake sales instead to make some money lol! Aswell as our proper exams, we've been having all these internal exams that give us predicted grades for next year when we apply to college/sixth form >:( So its been... quite annoying really! But today I'm chilling out! MATTHEW FOX (LOST!!!!) is coming on jonathan ross! So i'm looking forward to that.

Well I'm feeling summery and I've been looking at clothes recently... I love this asos dress but they've sold out of Small in cream :( It would look amazing with some knee high gladiators... but oh well.. I may have to buy the blue/black one, my brother's graduation is coming up..
I really want to get into the whole blog posting thing.. just never get round to it, but anyway, I've got 4 exams coming up and can't wait for the summer holidays. I've decided that my two summer projects are 1. Making clothes! and 2. Making a film :P! Ambitious, but I'm determined... but then again I'm certain that the film project won't go as planned lol...
I had a go at making a collage too. It's quite simple, but it's my first one so be nice :P This is my ideal casual summer outfit...Anyway, bye :)!

Wow, Topshop at the time when it isnt overly over priced!

Woo first proper post! I went to the topshop sale yesterday, and I have to admit I went a little bit mad, I couldnt take all of the clothes into the changing room :/ But I wait for the sales, because you could buy something one day, and the next day it'll be in the sale, with £10 off! So that is why I choose to never really buy anything full priced from topshop, unless it's an emergency :P The way I see it, why waste so much money when there are people dying right now? I just don't see the sense.
Anyway, I went shopping, firstly to check out the sales, and to find clothes for my work experience week. I bought a few things from topshop (pictured above - but can't find the pic of the blouse). But anyway, I will be updating with my sale bargains soon :P x

Hey everyone, dont really know where to start on this! What better day to start it than on the first day of the Topshop sale! I hope you enjoy reading about my style, and I hope it also relates to you.
